Waste Collection

There is a scale present on site that weighs and tares loads of these materials and charges accordingly.  A ticket is printed for each customer with a gross weight, tare weight, and net weight (difference) as well as the price per pound/ton from above.  The customer takes this ticket to the Board of Commissioner’s office to pay it.  It is tracked by the ticket number.  If the ticket is not paid within 30 days, an invoice is sent by the secretary in the Commissioner’s office.

Collection Fees

• Inert Only: $40 per Ton
• Household/Construction/Mattresses/Furniture: $40 per ton / No Commercial except County Businesses (No tires will be accepted if the business is on the EPD Regulated list. They by law have to have a vendor to dispose of their tires)
• Liquids: None Accepted
• Tires – 4 or Less: $4.00 Per Tire / None accepted if on Rims (No tires will be accepted if the business is on the EPD  Regulated list. They by law have to have a vendor to dispose of their tires )
• Tires – 5 Over: $4.00 Per Tire / None accepted if on Rims (No tires will be accepted if the business is on the EPD  Regulated list. They by law have to have a vendor to dispose of their tires )
• Truck/Off-Road Tires: $9.00 per tire / None accepted if on rims (No tires will be accepted if the business is on the EPD Regulated list. They by law have to have a vendor to dispose of their tires)
• Farm/Tractor Tires: $40.00 for Tractor None accepted if on rims (No tires will be accepted if the business is on the EPD Regulated list. They by law have to have a vendor to dispose of their tires)
• White Goods (Washers, Dryers, Stoves, Refrigerators, Freezers, etc.): $25.00 each
