From US Hwy 19 - GA Hwy 37 intersection, go east on Hwy 37 (Moultrie Road) approximately 1 mile from the intersection. We are on the left with the fuel pumps out front, directly across the street from the Mitchell County Justice Center.
Description
Mitchell County Public Works provides the road signs for the safety and emergency purposes of the County. We encourage all citizens to protect their expensive investment in road signs by discouraging those that may destroy or remove signs. Below is a list of prices that your tax dollars pay for these signs:
Stop Signs - $65
Special Signs - $58-150
Road Name Signs - $17
Various Other Signs - $25 - $60
If you see someone purposely taking or destroying the signs, please contact our offices or the Sheriff’s Department at 336-2030.
